This used Tecan Spark Multimode Microplate Reader out of 2017 was purchased from a biochemical/medical laboratory in the UK which had to close down. The Multimode Reader was in operation until closure of the laboratory and has always been properly maintained. Thereafter, the instrument was transported to us, tested in our laboratory and found to be in good condition. The Tecan Spark comes with a Windows 10 PC and Spark Control software.
The offered used Tecan Spark Multimode Microplate Reader has an easy selection of configurations for Genomics and proteomics, Microbiology, Cell-based assays and Drug discovery. It is allowed to freely configure new methods to current needs. The system is fully upgradable with to access other techniques in the future. Spark provides unparalleled wavelength accuracy, with a dedicated high speed monochromator for absorbance measurements. It provides all-in-one solutions for ELISAs, low volume DNA/protein quantification and fast spectral scanning.
