This used Applied Biosystems GeneAmp PCR 9700 with two thermal cycler block modules out of 2013 was purchased from a closed laboratory in Germany. It had been used in combination with a Quantstudio 3D PCR instrument. The included aluminium block module was needed to enable this combination. Probably best to buy them combined.
