The offered used Eppendorf Mastercycler gradient has a thermoblock, which is constructed as a universal block to hold different sample formats without exchanging the block. The thermal cycler features a Peltier temperature control system, which enables extremely rapid changes in temperature of up to 3 °C per second. This allows the temperature of the samples to be controlled extremely rapidly between 4 °C and 99 °C. Another advantage of this instrument is the Gradient function, which greatly facilitates the optimization of PCR experiments. The gradient enables the temperature across the entire block to be varied within a range of up to 20 °C; it can be programmed with every temperature step.
