Description
This used centrifuge, Hettich Rotixa 50S, has become synonymous for high sample throughput. This is why ROTIXA models are the centrifuges of choice in development and quality control laboratories of the life science industry and in medical routine laboratories. With the capability to generate a maximum RCF of 5530, ROTIXA centrifuges are well suited for separating a wide range of sample materials such as food, cell suspensions, sediments of chemical reactions, soil and of course blood and blood components.
In addition to all commonly used blood collection systems, the Hettich ROTIXA 50S centrifuge can accommodate Falcon tubes, microtitre plates and centrifuge bottles up to a volume of 1000 ml. With the growing use of clinical chemistry analysers, the ROTIXA 50S centrifuges are also designed to spin racks of popular manufacturers such as Olympus, Hitachi, LKB and Behring. It also goes without saying, that they accept the time-tested round-bottom tubes up to a max. volume of 250 ml.
The controls and displays of the ROTIXA 50S centrifuges are arranged according to ergonomical standards. The large display is clearly arranged and easy to read. During centrifugation, the actual values of all parameters are indicated. Entry of the parameters is fast and easy with selector keys on the waterproof foil keypad and an adjusting knob.
This used centrifuge, Hettich Rotixa 50s, originates from a hospital laboratory which had to close down.

The offered used used centrifuge, Hettich Rotixa 50S was tested in our laboratory and is in a good working condition. The shown insert can hold 24 test tubes with a diameter (⌀) of 14 mm.
The shown rotor, swingbuckets and inserts are included in the price. A comparable new system will cost approximately 14000 €.
