Description
This used GE Healthcare ÄKTA start protein purification system was manufactured in March 2020 and is supplied with a Frac30 fraction collector, a PC and the required Unicorn control software. The compact chromatography system is designed for laboratory-scale protein purification and combines straightforward operation with automated gradient formation, UV monitoring, conductivity measurement and fraction collection.
The ÄKTA start can be operated directly from the integrated touchscreen or from the supplied PC. In combination with the Frac30 it provides a complete solution for common protein purification methods including affinity chromatography, ion exchange, desalting and other preparative chromatography applications. The Frac30 automatically collects up to 30 fractions and supports several commonly used tube sizes.
