The offered used Waters 2487 dual absorbance detector is a versatile  “dual wavelength” UV detector. The detector was thoroughly tested in our own laboratory and is in an excellent state.

The instrument can be used in combination with various HPLC systems. Most ideal is off course a combination with a Waters system, such as a Waters alliance system. In case of a non-Waters HPLC system the detector must be used in the stand-alone mode and programmed by the control panel on the instrument.  This type of detector is known for its sensitivity and broad linear range. Therefore, it can be used for both relatively clean routine as more demanding complicated HPLC applications.  See the manual for more extensive specifications and features.
