“Spare parts” used UV-VIS spectrophotometer, Perkin Elmer Lambda 2

We keep several laboratory instruments on stock which are beyond repair. Reason is that there is a considerable demand  for used spare parts of especially older instruments. Manufacturers often charge high prices for new spare parts or just stop selling them. A low priced used spare part is then a good alternative, if the quality is right.

Our formula is quite simple:

If you need a spare part for one of the listed instrument, just send us the exact spare part identification number and the new price. We then remove the spare part from our instrument and sell it to you for a reasonable percentage of the new price. Simple isn’t it ?

In addition this category contains untested instruments. They might still be good but we consider testing to costly. We’ll sell these instruments in the ” as it is” state. If you are interested in one of these instruments, seek contact and together we’ll try to agree on a reasonable price.

Manual Perkin Elmer Lambda 2

Up for sale: a used UV-Vis spectrophotometer, Perkin Elmer Lambda 2. This double beam spectrophotometer is designed for routinely analysing UV-Vis samples. The system features a deuterium and a tungsten-halogen lamp. Because of this, it is possible to measure in an area between 190 to 1100 nm. By means of the instrumental display, the Lambda 2 can be operated manually. Optionally, you can equip the UV-Vis spectrophotometer with the supplied autosampler, with a maximum capacity of 13 cuvettes. It is possible to order cuvettes in our glassware shop.

The second-hand UV-Vis spectrophotometer, Perkin Elmer Lambda 2 has been tested in our laboratory but failed to give a good spectrum. Apparently their is a problem with the alignment. Repair by Perkin Elmer would be to costly, therefore we offer the instrument as spare parts.

Included are: Manual and printer.
