Description
This used refrigerated centrifuge Biofuge Primo R is a compact benchtop centrifuge designed for molecular biology, clinical laboratories, pharmaceutical applications, and general laboratory sample preparation. The Primo R combines the functionality of a high-speed centrifuge, microliter centrifuge, and general-purpose centrifuge in one compact unit. The refrigerated version offers precise temperature control from approximately -9 °C to +40 °C, making it suitable for temperature-sensitive samples such as DNA, RNA, proteins, enzymes, and blood samples. The system supports multiple rotor configurations including fixed-angle, swing-out, and microliter rotors for tubes ranging from 0.2 mL to 100 mL. Maximum speed reaches 15,000 rpm with a maximum RCF of approximately 21,885 x g depending on the rotor used. Features include automatic rotor recognition, electronic imbalance detection, brushless induction drive, programmable braking profiles, and low-noise operation below 60 dB.
