Description
This used large volume refrigerated ultracentrifuge HiCen 21C is a free standing model with cooling from Herolab. It was tested/maintained in our laboratory and is in a good operational state. It is designed for the separation of liquid media and suspensions in the fields of molecular biology, medicine, biochemistry, with a separation volume of up to 6×500 ml.
The centrifuge chamber is made of stainless steel with an internal safety ring. The centrifuge is equipped with a brushless induction motor, overspeed and imbalance detectors, automatic lid opening at the end of the process and emergency lid release. The LCD-display shows speed/acceleration, time and temperature.

De centrifugekamer is gemaakt van roestvrij staal met een interne veiligheidsring. De centrifuge is uitgerust met een borstelloze inductiemotor, detectoren voor te hoog toerental en onbalans, automatische dekselopening aan het einde van het proces en noodontgrendeling van het deksel. LCD-display toont snelheid/acceleratie, tijd en temperatuur.
