Description
Offered for sale a used laboratory vacuum pump, the KNF Vacobox (later named Buchi B-171 Vacobox). The KNF Vacobox can be used for a wide rage of laboratory applications such as: rotovapor, vacuum distillation, vacuum filtration, SPE extraction, etc. On the control panel the required vacuum pressure (set value) can be set as well as the acceptable pressure bandwith (Hpressure). After the required vacuum pressure is reached the system will shut down and will not restart until the Hpressure bandwith is exceeded. This way the pressure alternates around the set value.
The system was tested in our laboratory and is, although it is an older system, in a good state.
It ought to be able to reach a minpressure below 70 mPa (in practice 20 mPa was reached).
