Easy cleaning
The Heraeus B6 is extremely easy-to-clean and decontaminate. Furthermore, the incubator has been engineered without fittings that get in the way, ensuring even temperature distribution and rapid heating-up times. The inner chamber, shelf supports and perforated shelves are made of corrosion resistant stainless steel. The stainless steel inner chamber has smooth walls with rounded edges and corners. The shelves and shelf supports
are easy to remove without tools, and can be cleaned separately. This makes thorough cleaning of the incubator safe and easy, thereby reducing the risk of contamination.
Low space requirements
The internal volume of the Heraeus B6 is 73 litres. To provide a flexible interior, the shelves can be adjusted in increments
of 30 mm. Thiss high capacity, compact units require a minimum of laboratory space and can be stacked.
Intelligent controls
The incubator operates at temperatures of up to 70 °C. Precise temperature control is ensured by a microprocessor based controller with a large, easily read temperature display. A timer for activating/deactivating the incubator is integrated in the controller. This timer can be set from 1 minute to 99 hours.
Safety and reliability
Function Line Incubators are designed for continuous unattended operation (class 3.1, DIN 12880 part 1). All units are GS tested by an independent testing house and are noise suppressed. Electronic and mechanical components were carefully selected during the design phase.
Accuracy and homogenity
For applications that require minimum spatial temperature deviation the Heraeus B6 offers optimum temperature accuracy of ±0.4 °C at 37 °C set temperature.
