Description
This used GE Healthcare WAVE CO2MIX20 CO2/Air Controller is an external gas mixing module designed for WAVE Bioreactor and rocking motion single-use bioreactor systems. The unit mixes air with CO2 and supplies a controlled CO2/air gas mixture to the bioreactor bag headspace for ventilation, pressure maintenance and CO2/pH-related process control.
The CO2MIX20 is suitable for use with WAVE Bioreactor 2/10 and 20/50 systems and compatible Cellbag / CultiBag RM type rocking bioreactor setups, when used with the appropriate tubing, bag configuration and controller setup. The units were likely used together with the Sartorius Stedim BIOSTAT CultiBag RM rocker platforms, but are offered as separate gas-mixing modules.
The module includes AIR IN, CO2 IN and MIX OUT connections, a CO2 process controller, airflow controller, pump switch, CO2 switch, high-pressure indicator and CO2 pressure OK indicator. The CO2 concentration can be set from 0% to 15%, allowing flexible gas conditioning for cell culture and bioprocess applications.
