Description
This used Sartorius Stedim BIOSTAT CultiBag RM 50 Rocking Bioreactor is a single-use rocking motion bioreactor platform designed for low-shear cell cultivation in disposable CultiBag RM bioreactor bags. The system is suitable for cell culture, seed train applications, process development, biotechnology research, vaccine development, recombinant protein production and biopharmaceutical laboratory workflows.
The BIOSTAT CultiBag RM 50 uses wave-mixed rocking motion to provide gentle and homogeneous mixing of the culture medium. This makes it well suited for shear-sensitive cell lines and applications where simple, flexible and contamination-reduced single-use bioreactor operation is required. The RM 50 format is designed for use with 50 L CultiBag RM bags, with a typical maximum working volume of 25 L.
A total of 6 units is available. The units are equipped with bag holders, covers, integrated control panels, aeration connections and Pt100 temperature sensors as pictured.
A number of Single-use CultiBag RM bags are available and will be supplied to the first buyers (free of charge). the Cultibag can be used with our external control towers 2387 (single bag) and 2388 (double bag) and Wave CO2/Air control mixers.
