This used Agilent 7890B GC with PAL GC-XT and Gerstel C506 controller comes from a research institute in the Netherlands were it was attached to an Waters Autospec Premier. It is in a good state and offered as a complete turn-key gas chromatography system. Mind the opening on the right hand side of the GC, it was used for the connection to the Waters Autospec Premier. We will make sure it is closed/stuffed prior to sending it.
The Agilent 7890B (G3440B) is one of the most reliable and widely used gas chromatographs in environmental, food, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical laboratories. This system is equipped with both a standard split/splitless injector and a Gerstel CIS-4 cooled injection system, enabling conventional as well as advanced PTV injection techniques such as cold injection and large volume injection.
In addition, the system includes a PAL GC-xt autosampler controlled by a Gerstel MAS C506 controller. This configuration supports fully automated injections, including liquid, headspace, and SPME, ensuring maximum reproducibility and efficiency. It makes the instrument particularly suitable for demanding trace applications, which was the previous use case of this setup.
