Description
This used Invitrogen Electrophoresis unit XCell SureLock Mini-Cell was purchased from a biochemical/medical laboratory. Until closure of the laboratory, the unit was working properly. For this reason, no further tests were conducted. The system is perfect to combine with one of the offered power supplies: the nanoPAC-300P or the EC 135.
The offered used Invitrogen Electrophoresis unit XCell SureLock Mini-Cell is applicable for vertical electrophoresis using mini-protein gels. The unit is compatible with all Invitrogen mini precast gels and Surecast handcast gels. It can also be used for wet transfers when using a XCell II Blot Module (not included). The Mini-Cell is simple, sturdy, and easy to use. The system incorporates the use of a gel tension wedge to make setup quick and convenient. When the lever on the gel tension wedge is pushed forward into the locked position, horizontal force is generated. This seals the gel/buffer core assembly firmly into position in the lower buffer chamber. The positive locking action of the gel tension wedge ensures a trouble-free, leak-free gel run every time.
