123 – Used Edwards XDS 35i dry scroll vacuum pump.

3,000.00 ex.

This used Edwards XDS35i dry scroll vacuum pump has a pumping speed of 21.0 cfm (35.0 m3/hr), and an ultimate vacuum of 0.008 Torr (0.01 mbar). The pump has a KF-40 (NW40) inlet with inlet strainer, and a KF-25 (NW25) outlet port. It requires 100-240 VAC single phase power and has a C19 power connector. The XDS35i draws 10.6A@120 VAC (6.6A@240 VAC). The pump has a run/standby switch, a high/low voltage switch, an hour meter, and an onboard inverter which can be controlled remotely via its DB15 logic interface. The pump was tested and is in a good condition. The pressure readout is conducted with a basic vacuum meter and represents the vacuum that can be achieved in practice (not the “ultimate” manufacturer vacuum).

The Edwards XDS35i scroll pump has a patented bearing shield designed to isolate the vacuum environment from all forms of lubricant. This feature ensures that the bearing remains totally dry, as well as protecting it from any process gases. The adjustable gas ballast allows vapor to be handled and opens up the range of applications to many that were previously unsuited to scroll pumps. This Edwards XDS35i pump is designed for pumping condensable vapors, and uses materials selected for compatibility in a wide range of laboratory applications.
