Description
These two used GE Healthcare ÄKTAcrossflow TFF systems are bench-top automated tangential flow filtration systems designed for ultrafiltration, microfiltration, diafiltration, concentration and process development applications. They are suitable for small-scale bioprocessing and method development involving proteins, antibodies, vaccines, enzymes, cell culture products and other biological materials. The ÄKTAcrossflow platform is designed for controlled filtration workflows with monitoring and control of flow, pressure and process parameters.
Both systems originate from a large biomedical company which was forced to downsize. The first system is almost complete and in operational state, the second is a spare part donor. The systems will be delivered with PC and Unicorn software.
The systems are supplied as pictured. Missing elements from the first system are the P-PCV permeate control valve and the in-line transfer flow restrictor located behind the transfer pump and some tubing. The missing pieces are relatively basic and not very expensive. The main elements are present and the functionality is tested. These are; All pumps and valve blocks, the R-PCV (retentate pressure control valve), the reservoir and level/temp sensor, the pH, UV and conductivity detectors, etc.
