Description
This used Glas-Col Dry Powder Rotator is a specialized laboratory mixer designed for thorough mixing of powders, granulates and other difficult-to-mix dry materials. By positioning the drive shaft at a 20° angle, the unit closely reproduces the mixing action achieved when rotating a bottle by hand. During operation the material is continuously moved from end to end while simultaneously rotating around the inside of the vessel, resulting in a more homogeneous mixture than can typically be achieved with conventional reciprocal shakers. The robust construction, adjustable tilt angle and variable speed control make the system suitable for pharmaceutical laboratories, chemical laboratories, food laboratories, materials research and quality control applications. The silicone-lined bottle holder helps prevent chemical deterioration and securely holds bottles during operation. This unit is the 240 V CE version and includes the original Glas-Col motor controller.
