Description
This used Micropore LDC-1 is a benchtop membrane emulsification / dispersion cell designed for formulation development, prototyping, and laboratory-scale emulsions. It enables controlled droplet formation with high precision using a laser-drilled membrane and adjustable shear.
The device can produce droplets in the 10–1000 µm range, with typical batch volumes up to ~100 ml. It includes membranes suited for either oil-in-water or water-in-oil emulsions, and operates using a magnetic stirrer or shear mechanism adjacent to the membrane.
