2442 – Used Micropore LDC-1 Membrane Dispersion Cell

750.00 ex.

This used Micropore LDC-1 is a benchtop membrane emulsification / dispersion cell designed for formulation development, prototyping, and laboratory-scale emulsions. It enables controlled droplet formation with high precision using a laser-drilled membrane and adjustable shear.

The device can produce droplets in the 10–1000 µm range, with typical batch volumes up to ~100 ml. It includes membranes suited for either oil-in-water or water-in-oil emulsions, and operates using a magnetic stirrer or shear mechanism adjacent to the membrane.

Its compact design and robust construction make it suitable for academic, R&D, or pilot labs that need reliable control over particle or droplet size during development.

Specifications (typical for model):

  • Model: Micropore LDC-1 (membrane dispersion cell)
  • Droplet size range: ~ 10 to 1000 µm
  • Batch volume: ~ 100 ml per run
  • Membranes included: for oil-in-water or water-in-oil systems
  • Operating principle: shear adjacent to membrane, stirring / mixing to detach droplets
  • Application: emulsification, microparticle dispersion, formulation development
