1492 – Used Zymark TurboVap LV Evaporator

This used Zymark TurboVap LV Evaporator is a high speed, small volume sample concentrator. It is an efficient alternative to the inconvenient setup, constant monitoring and long evaporation times that are characteristic of conventional techniques – with the added convenience of unattended, automatic operation. The TurboVap LV can simultaneously process up to 50 samples in many popular test tube, centrifuge tube, and micro-centrifuge tube sizes. This evaporator uses a gas vortex shearing action for high evaporation rates regardless of sample height in tubes. The TurboVap LV is ten times faster than centrifugal evaporators, three times faster than hot blocks, and two times faster than conventional N2 blow down.

The Turbovap LV Evaporator is ideal for labs specializing in environmental studies, food testing, NIDA, forensic and chemical studies, and pharmaceutical development. Commonly used for evaporating solvents after solid phase extraction, this flexible, high throughput evaporation system can be changed up with different tube racks ranging from 1.5 ml up to 30 ml. Samples can be in GC vials, microcentrifuge tubes conical bottom tubes or test tubes. This concentration evaporator is time saving, up to 10 times faster than centrifugal evaporation and 3 times as fast as hot blocks.
