Description
This used Kjeldahl Digestion System is a Gerhardt Kjeldatherm 20-position block digestion unit with automatic lift and programmable digital controller. It is designed for Kjeldahl digestion, nitrogen determination and sample preparation prior to distillation.
The system uses a precisely controlled aluminium heating block and can process up to 20 samples simultaneously. Typical applications include Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN), protein determination and digestion of food, feed, dairy, agricultural, environmental and chemical samples.
The programmable Gerhardt controller provides stored methods and user-defined digestion programs. The display of this unit contains methods including MEST, COAL TKN, DAIRY NPN, DAIRY TKN, FEED and FEED TKN. The automatic lift raises and lowers the complete sample rack during the digestion process, improving operator safety and simplifying handling of hot digestion tubes.
This Gerhardt KJELDATHERM is fitted with the original Gerhardt EB-L two-tier console and TZ/TZs operating unit. The automatic lift, heating system, controller and display have been tested and are in good operational condition.
