Lab East 1e contains all labs east of the entrance corridor on the first floor (338.7 m2). The lab is suitable as an independently operating laboratory for a medium-sized company. The infrastructure that was built in the past is still present and can be reused.
Layout:
It was previously equipped with:
- 7 air handling ducts.
- 2 extraction points/arms in the analytical laboratory.
- A fume hood with cold water, gas, and compressed air connections.
- Four island tables with sinks, each equipped with cold water, hot water, demineralized water, nitrogen, gas, and compressed air connections.
- Four island tables without sinks, including one with a cold water connection and two with gas connections.
- A wall-mounted workbench with a sink near the door, with cold water, hot water, and demineralized water connections.
- Multiple emergency showers and CO₂ fire extinguishers.

In principle, working with biological agents is permitted in this space. Mind that most furniture is currently on display in the labs on the first floor. Everything is movable and can be relocated to this space if desired. The layout can be adapted to suit any desired configuration. Optional storage and office spaces are available upon request.
