Description
The Used Techne Sample Concentrator is used to evaporate samples by leading a stream of gas (normally nitrogen or other inert gas) into the sample tubes. Combined with a block heater, it can accelerate the evaporation process. Is is often used in chemical, biochemical and biological labs.
The Concentrators is equipped with and adjustable valve to control the gas pressure and tubing to connect to the gas source. The protection plate is an important feature for it protects the gas chamber from corrosive vapors. The needle guide is anonther usefull feature for it can be used to align the needle at the center of the sample vials no matter what block heater is used. Two types of needles can be used in the Concentrator: Stainless steel and Teflon coating. Our concentrator contains stainless steel needles which makes it resistant to many chemical corrosive vapors.
