Description
The offered used GPC clean-up instrument, Basix is a simple and universal system for gel permeation chromatographic clean-up. It is used to remove high molecular weight matrix disturbances prior to analysis of residues and contaminants. Although universally applicable, it is often used to clean-up food, feed or environmental samples. This system gives a fast and inexpensive access to GPC, and its basic version is fully adequate for laboratories processing a smaller number of samples.
The shown configuration consists of two components that form a working system. The first component is the LC-Tech Basix GPC clean-up system. The second component is an HPLC pump, in this case an isocratic Shimadzu HPLC pump type LC-10AS (not included). The connection between these two parts allows you to simply purify your samples.
LC-Tech Basix GPC fractionation instrument.
The instrument can be used to fractionate various fractions from a GPC column. The internal fractionation valve can be connected to any HPLC pump, such as the Shimadzu HPLC pump LC-10AS. Programs can be made in which the time of the preflush, mainflush and rinse are set. The gelpermeation chromatography set-up includes 3 columns (one still packed) and a bottle of sorbent. Optionally a fractionation sampler can be added.
