Dit “als nieuw” tweedehands Techne Prime Pro 48 Real-time qPCR-systeem zit nog in de originele verpakking. Het instrument is rechtstreeks uit een pakhuis aangekocht en is nooit in de praktijk gebruikt. Het is in onze ogen dan ook “als nieuw”. Het aanbod omvat: Dock en Squeegee, EcoControl en EcoStudy-software USB-stick en Power- en Ethernet-kabels (zie foto’s).
Het Prime Pro 48 realtime qPCR-systeem is een hoogwaardige, voordelig geprijsde realtime thermische cycler van Techne. De Prime Pro 48 is gemaakt in het VK en heeft de hoogste thermische blokuniformiteit en de snelste looptijd van alle blokgebaseerd qPCR-systemen op de markt.
Hoge thermische uniformiteit en gevalideerde monstervolumes tot 5ul zorgen ervoor dat onderzoekers met Prime Pro 48 de looptijd voor een geoptimaliseerde reactie van 40 cycli kunnen terugbrengen tot slechts 15 minuten. qPCR-efficiëntie is afhankelijk van nauwkeurige temperatuurregeling tijdens de denaturatie- en gloeistappen. Voor de hoogste nauwkeurigheid moet de temperatuur uniform blijven over de plaat, zodat alle monsters gelijk worden verwerkt. Het unieke thermische blokontwerp van Prime Pro 48 bereikt dit met een uniek verwarmings- en koelsysteem dat snel van de ene temperatuur naar de andere gaat en vervolgens binnen een fractie van een seconde een uniforme ± 0,1°C bereikt in elke put van het blok.
De capaciteit van Prime Pro 48 biedt plaats aan een unieke en voordelige 48-wells qPCR-plaat. Het putformaat weerspiegelt een plaat met 384 putjes, waardoor het gebruik van 16-kanaalspipetten mogelijk is. De kleine qPCR-plaat halveert de reagenskosten en produceert toch een sterk fluorescentiesignaal. Het minimaliseren van de plaatafmetingen verbetert ook de thermische uniformiteit aanzienlijk en verkort de looptijden aanzienlijk.
