Description
This used Thermo Scientific MaxQ 481R HP refrigerated shaker was manufactured in August 2021. The large floor-standing incubator shaker combines high-capacity orbital shaking with accurate heating and refrigeration, making it suitable for microbial cultivation, cell culture, protein expression, solubility studies and general laboratory mixing applications.
The heavy-duty shaking mechanism can handle loads up to 32 kg and operates over a speed range of 25 to 525 rpm. Temperature can be controlled from 4°C to 60°C. The stainless-steel chamber, HEPA-filtered airflow and large viewing window are designed for reliable long-term laboratory operation. The pictures were taken at the previous location, don’t mind the aluminum foil that lies on top of the shaker. It was used to prevent light from entering the shaker and will be removed.
