Description
This used TA Discovery HR-1 Hybrid Rheometer was installed in February 2020 in a biomedical research laboratory in the Netherlands and remained in use until mid-2025, when the facility closed after an acquisition. The system is in excellent condition, lightly used, and includes all essential accessories for immediate operation. The “real” newprice in 2020 was approximately €42000.
The Discovery HR-1 combines TA Instruments’ patented drag-cup motor, magnetic bearing design, and force rebalance transducer (FRT) to deliver high torque resolution and exceptional sensitivity for oscillatory, steady-shear, and creep measurements. This Smart-Swap Peltier configuration supports precise temperature-controlled testing of polymers, gels, emulsions, and biological materials.
