This as new Beckman Coulter Multisizer 4e Particle Analyser was purchased from and installed by Beckman Coulter in July 2023 at a Dutch biomedical research company. As the laboratory shut down in 2025, it was never used in practice.  Therefore, the system is in an “as new” condition, fully supported by the manufacturer. Firmware and software are fully compatible with modern Windows operating systems and current Beckman Coulter service standards.

The Multisizer 4e applies the Coulter principle (electrical sensing zone) with advanced Digital Pulse Processing (DPP) technology to measure particle volume, size distribution, and count with extreme precision — independent of optical or color properties. The analyzer can operate with multiple aperture diameters (10 µm – 2000 µm), covering a measurement range of 0.2 µm to 1600 µm. Typical applications include particle sizing of emulsions, polymers, toner powders, cells, yeast, and protein aggregates.
