Dit Leco systeem zal buiten werking worden gesteld als het laboratorium de validatie van het nieuwe systeem heeft afgerond. Om deze reden is het in goede conditie en werkt het naar behoren.<\/p>\n<p>Het aangeboden tweedehands Leco RC 612 koolstof en water analysesysteem is ontworpen voor de analyse van het koolstof- en waterstofgehalte in vele organische en anorganische monster. Het is ook in staat de bron waaruit de elementen afkomstig zijn te identificeren. Het systeem geeft een volledige analyse van oppervlaktekoolstof, vrije koolstof, organische koolstof, anorganische koolstof, carbonaat, vocht en kristallijn water. Bij verbranding in een oxiderende atmosfeer (O2) worden de meeste vormen van koolstof omgezet in CO2. Organische vormen van koolstof daarentegen produceren zowel H2O als CO2. De aanwezigheid van organische koolstof kan dus worden geverifieerd door samenvallende pieken in H2O en CO2 te vinden.
